Backstage Encounters

THere are some famous plays that run for a month but there are some which only run for 4 days to a week.  No matter how hard I try, if my schedule does not permit, then I will have to give up watching these plays. But that can probably be counted as an "encounter" too. When I went to watch the play "天保十二年シェクスピア" , I went to the dressing room 1 hour before the play started and talked to Karasawa-san (唐沢寿明）、Katsu-san （勝村政信 - Nino's sugar daddy）andFujihara-kun. ( 藤原竜也).  Then I met again, the guy who was my first dad when I entered the world of acting. It was Kiba-san, (木場勝己） who acted with me in "Stand By Me".  During that time, although we didn't have any scenes together, he remembered the things that happened 7 years ago and I was very happy. 

Parents and Child? Close Friend?

When i went to watch a certain play, the seat next to me was empty even 3 minutes before showtime. I thought, "Maybe this person is not coming" , so I put my bag on the seat. Then there was this voice "Hey, can u not put your bag on the seat?" I looked up, and it was Ootake Shinobu-san. When she saw my face, she said "Wah, this is terrible!!". (laughs).  A little while before that, I had an appointment with Ootake-san to watch a play directed by Ninagawa Yukio san (director of Jun's play in May), but our schedules could not meet and so I sent her an email saying, " Please tell ningawa-san, the next time when I go and watch Jun-kun's play I will apopogise to him."  But we met in another play.  So I said to her "doesn't our schedules meet? We can go watch the other play."  On that day, Ootake-san was wearing a chilli red dress and without thinking I called out to her " Hey, no matter how u look at it, don't u think that dress is flashy?"  I said it, in a loud voice, 3 minutes before showtime! (laughs).  It was been said to me " U have a lot of friends  who are in showbiz."  At the workplace, the friends that I make just happen to be in showbiz.  To me, I don't have the feeling that I have become friends with someone who is in showbiz. (They are just friends).  Conversely, where do I meet people who are not in showbiz??

Encounters in TV Music Variety Programs

I met Reimioromen's 神宮　寺くん at a Music Station show. He started the conversation by asking me "Are there really UFOs?" (XXDD Reimomen watches G No Arashi!!)  " I have liked Arashi since your debut. Please come to our live concerts the next time." he continued. Its been 2,3 years since I went to their live concerts. It is good. The turning point for me when I met Kitagawa-kun of Road of Major was also during a variety music programme. Now we are good friends.  When u take on a new piece of work, there will be various new encounters and this year looks like it will be a good year for me! (yep.. u met Kurinto-san ne...) XD
