Osaka 9/27 (Day 3)

The MC on the last day was the funniest. I have not laughed like this in an MC for a long time.  ^ ^

N: Hey I want to ask you something, when we were singing Beautiful Days, there was this part, “tanoshiku~~ temo~…” that part is usually sung by Shochan and myself right?  (Points at Aibachan) You were singing that that part too right?

S: (looks at Aiba) Ah! You are exposed!! You “part” stealer!!

A: But I was too excited, I sang that part too, but then the spotlight didn’t shine on me when I was singing.

M: So, since you are singing our parts, we need to “fine” you for stealing our part…

A: Sumimasen, sorry… I was too excited…

N: And there were other areas where you did that too, during “step and go” also right?

M: Ah!!! That reminds me of something! (walks over to Aiba and says something to him off the mike, and Aiba smiles in embarrassment, puts his arms around Jun’s shoulder and takes him to the side of the stage)

(Audience: kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~~~~~)

S: This looks like it will be an MC where the audience doesn’t get to hear what we say.

N: Looks like he is telling Aiba-san his mistakes for real.

M: No,no, what I was saying to him is that in the latter part of the song, when we are all singing together,  he was singing Ri-da’s solo parts too

A: Ah I was enjoying myself so much, I ended up singing ri-da’s parts too during the rehearsal.

S: Erm, Aiba-san, I’m sorry, but if you want to sing other member’s parts, please go to the karaoke.

A: eh, why can’t we all enjoy ourselves and sing each other’s parts?

S:  (looking like he was explaining this to a small kid) well, you see, this is a concert. So can you please stick to your part and go to Big Echo (karaoke joint) if you want to sing other parts.

M: (looking at leader)  : Oh alright, today why don’t we just forget about whose part belongs to whom?  And let the audience figure out if Aiba had sung ri-da-‘s part.

O: OK.

A: (turns to leader) OK? Is that fine with you?

O: (happily) OK!!! No problem at all!!!

S: (to leader) Wah! you are so kind!!!

A: Well, I seem to be stealing all sorts of things today.

S: What do you mean?

A: Well, Shochan, you were in the bath today, right?

M:  (laughing) What on earth were you stealing?!

N: Me and Aiba-san, we were really pirates! We stole everything and anything.

S: Well, I was thinking I could just go and take a nice, slow, leisurely bath all by myself before the concert. So, when I was sitting in the bathtub relaxing, this person (Aiba), again, he stepped into the bath!

A: No, you are mistaken!! I couldn’t see you in the bath!

S: You could see me! What are you talking about?

A: No! I didn’t see you. Really!

N: And you brought me along too, I say you are a pirate!

A: (trying to explain) Well, Shochan, he was sitting in the bathtub like this (body submerged and showing only a bit of his face, facing up floating above the water)  

N: Like this, like this, (shows the water level covering most of the face)

A: Yeah, from afar, I couldn’t see anyone. There was no one in the tub, and I thought some kind soul had nicely heated the water in the tub for me…. So I told Nino, “Let’s go!!” and then when we entered the tub, we found Shochan there… And so three of us, we were all in the tub together….

Audience: KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~~~~~~~~

S: Yeah, it was scary, I was sitting quietly in the tub minding my own business, and these two, they came into my bath and surrounded me on both sides….

N: Yeah, the tub was narrow, so we were sitting in this position.. (Nino à Sho & Aiba) (Nino was sitting perpendicular to Sho and Aiba, who were sitting side by side, facing in the same direction)

S: Yes, at first it was this position.

N: Yes, at first we were sitting like this. Then Aiba-san, he said, “hmmmm this is a strange position…….”

A: …Yeah, I said that and so…………….. (Lifted his right leg above Sho”s head and moved such that it ended up that it was NINO (facing Sho) à SHO (sitting facing at a 90 degree angle to Nino and Aiba)  ß  AIBA (facing Sho )

Audience: KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~~

S: Kids, we’re very sorry, please do not become this kind of adult when you grow up…

A: opps sorry….

S: Yesterday, we were also in the tub taking a shower. The three of us. We had to get out of the place quickly and there was no time, and so the three of us went into the tub together. Well, you see, the bathtub, there is this area, which was bubbling out water, one person was washing there, then there was the shower, another person was standing washing there. And me……. (Stoops down below the person at the shower using that person’s soapy water) I was showering like this……..

N: yeah the three of us…

M: there are only 2 places the water was coming out, how can you wash properly?

S: No problem, we were very clean after that. We managed to wash everything.

N: We were being ecologically friendly.

S: Yeah and just as I was saying “ Hey there is no time and all three of us, we had to go shower together… Its was very taihen (tough) ……” and then Matsujun, he comes walking by with his towel, rubbing the water out of his hair…saying ” iiyaaaaa~~~this feels great!!!”

M: I showered someplace else…there were three showers in all. I saw you three guys in one bath, so I went to the empty bath to shower by myself. 

A: Hey leader, did you shower?

O: Yeah I did.

N: (disbelievingly) Ah, really? Ri-da-, I know to each his own, but when you shower, you will wet your head last, right?

O:……………………………. Eh?? (spaced out)

Audience: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

N: Everytime I see you in the shower, your hairstyle is still the same, it doesn’t look wet.

O:………(smiles sheepishly)  I wash from the top , I wash my face….

N: You are washing your face…??? (decides not to pick on him anymore and turns to Aiba) Aiba-san, even when you are in the individual shower, you are squating down when you shower right?

A: Yes if I stand, I get tired, so I stoop down and shower.

M: Ah I understand, but sometimes there are some baths where you can sit crossed legged right.

A: yes yes, but if I am some stranger’s house, I will not sit down in the bath, I find it gross, I will stoop down and shower.   (My qn: Why is he showering in some stranger’s house in the first place?!!)

M: You are unexpectedly sensitive sometimes, ne.

A: Yes, unexpectedly I possess some Blood Type A qualities.

S: Oh because you are AB Blood type.

A: Today, my Blood type A side came out.

N: When you were making Takoyaki, right?

A: Yes, today during our free time, I was making Takoyaki. And then Nino came over and said to me, “hey, it’s unexpected, you do possess some Blood Type A qualities “

M: What are you talking about?

N: Yes he was really detailed when making the Takoyaki.

A: Yes, if it wasn’t in a perfect round shape, I’d get pissed off.

S: Well, I think that is the case for anyone when it comes to Takoyaki…..

M: Recently I was making it and I couldn’t get it to be round.

A; Hey, it’s really difficult.

O: There was once when Aiba chan and myself made Takoyaki for a photoshoot and during that time, we just sort of used our own judgement to make it.

A: Well that time, it wasn’t that great, but today it was perfect. Everyone, the juniors, the band members, staff, they all said that my Takoyaki was delicious.

N: Well, not a single Arashi member ate your Takoyaki…

S: Hey I didn’t know about it…

A: I gave some to him (Jun).

N: Really?

S: Was it delicious?

J: Hmmmmm.. not really……

Aiba: Oi!!!!!!
