CHESTO TAKES THE PLUNGE

Today, Sept 20th, is my aunt's birthday. She turns 78 and lives in a nursing home.  Earlier this year, she underwent 2 operations to get her intestines sorted out. (they had rotted away and she was losing weight rapidly). When they admitted her into hospital, she was only 30kg and just skin and bones.  Then, she had a heart attack whilst in ICU. No one thought she would survive to see her next birthday. But she has. My aunt is a fighter and a fiesty one at that. So today, I want to wish her many happy returns. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTIE IVY!!!  ^_^v

And..... talking about fighting spirit, our CHESTO, Mr I-am-afraid-of heights, Mr I-am-chicken-when-it-comes-to-sliding-down-waterfalls, he went SKYDIVING!!! O_o
WAH!!!!!

The other day, for the location shoot for G no Arashi, I went skydiving. For those of you who have watched our G no Arashi TV, you will know it - it was painful and challenging enough for me to slide down a waterfall which was 18 metres in height, so to me, the fact that I went skydiving, it was a big deal for me.  XD XD XD

But getting me to do it wasn't all that straightforward. The staff asked me" Sakurai-kun, will you do it?"  "Well, I think, seriously, it is impossible." I said. 
Following that, the staff rang me again: 

"Sakurai-kun, will you go skydiving?"

 " No, no, no, I think, really I cannot do it", I said. 

"But if you can just do one dive for us during one of the times when we fly in the plane, that's all we ask," the staff said.

"Well, if you want me to dive, I will only do it once.." I said

"Ah, you will do it once for us? OKOK, jyane, byebye!!" the staff replied and quickly hung up the phone.

"Oi...................!!!!!" I went.. (laughs)

This was totally all of a sudden. Somehow, I had ended up agreeing to go skydiving.  XD XD XD

So from then, I met some people and quizzed them about skydiving. " You went skydiving right? what did you think about it? Daijyoubu?"  Of course, amongst these people, there were some who told me  " Skydiving was tremendously exciting!!" 

So, why did I have to go skydiving? The reason was that, to find out if a wet T-shirt (OO we get to see him in a wet T-shirt ^_^) will dry out during skydiving. (laughs) Whatever!! I don't care!!!  Well, of course i would like to you watch the show and see the result. XD XD

So for that, i really went up 4000 metres into the sky. That's a bit higher than Mt Fuji and the temperature was about 10 degrees.  Tt was really cold. I was wearing nothing but that one T-shirt, and a wet one on top of everything, but to climb to that height for the dive, it took 20 minutes, so during that time, the T-shirt dried itself out. I was already so terribly afraid of skydiving,  my feelings were all tensed up, and of all yabai things to happen, my T-shirt had to dry out!! So there was this spray at the corner and I tried my best to make the T-shirt wet again by spraying the water on myself, and while the plane was rattling around during all these, the staff yelled

"Sakurai-kun, let's go!!!"

"No no!! I can't!!" I said.

"Let's go!! Let's Go!!"

"No! NO! NO!".......

And after all this chugging and huffing... I finally managed to dive out of the plane. XD XD XD 
( I can just imagine all that racket he must be kicking up after watching what he did before sliding down that 18 m waterfall.... XD XD XD)

"It was very taihen."

But after all that, I can say one thing: It was a really great experience. Before you plunge out of the plane, it is really scary, but when you are descending, the feeling is that you are really flying in the sky.  It was really a strange experience for me. (he is always like this, after all that racket, he will say its a great experience, but not before kicking up lots of dust into the air... ^ ^)

AH..this is just too cute!! 

I will definitely look forrward to seeing it!

EDIT:  listened to it today again...actually, the experiement was whether a WHITE shirt would dry out, not a T-shirt.....sorry.... I was too sleepy last nite... XD
