凱旋コン帰って来た！
After sending them off into Asia at the last concert in August, I was priviledged to be able to welcome them back with a hearty  `okaerinasai!!!!!` at the first 凱旋コンon January 3rd. 

They had a press conference today, so I decided to join the mass of fangirls waiting in line for them to come out to greet the fans later on. I first heard about this press conference when I met some Arashi fans at the countdown concert a few days a ago but at that time, it was still only a rumor. So after i purchased my goods, i saw the TV cameras waiting to get into the arena and that sort of comfirmed my suspicions that there would be a press conference. So I joined the queue at 2.45pm and heard from a friend that they would be coming out at 3.45pm. So my friends and I stood around (by them the crowd was already 9-10 rows deep, and we were about row 7. So a little while later, this woman came out and told us to behave. Otherwise, the security guards would surround Arashi and scurry them back into the arena. Following that, they went on to ask the first 5 rows to stoop so the fans at the back could see what was going on... and since I was in row 7 and pretty tall, I got a good view. At about 3.30pm, the guys came out and the press conference start which lasted about 20mins. Then at 3.50pm, they came out!!! The screaming went a good few decibels up.......They were wearing white and looked mecha mecha kakkoi....... After taking a couple of PR photos with the fans, they waved and gave us their dazzling smiles and then disappeared back into the arena. Nino was especially in good spirits and he was throwing V-signs about..... ^ ^ v    Hmm.. damm. It was sure worth the 1hour wait.    

Before that , we went to get the concert goods. Usually I don`t buy a lot of concert goods but this time it was cho yabai.... They all looked damm bloody good!! So I absolutely had to get one of my two favourites:

since they all looked so good.... maji cho yabai...... I could see the yen literally flying out of my wallet.....  (^ ^:A)

and of course, want concert is without uchiwas.... 



In anycase, when i got into the arena, I was like.. woah, there is a hanamichi right around the whole arena.... from the front stage all the way to the back. In summer con, the hanamich stopped in the middle. In addition there was the moving stage and centre stage and Back stage too.... man, they were pulling out all the stops... they even had cranes towards the back stage and raised platforms on both sides somewhere around middle stage!! su~ge.......

 


That circular thing is the base of the crane and i took this picture from my seat which was pretty good, I got see all their faces clearly when they walked by without using binos.
The song list was pretty much the same as Korea and Taiwan and there was only one encore. The last song of the encore was Love So Sweet (Is that the title? I can`t remember songs with fruity titles) which  was a medium tempo song and the first time they performed it live.

The MC talk was not as interesting as i hope it would be , but nevertheless it never failed to entertain. 

They were talking about what they did over the new year.  
So Aiba went first. He said when he got home and looked at all the greeting cards for the new year, he only found one at the bottom of the pile addressed to him , from the UFJ Bank asking him to deposit more money with them next year!! Then masaki-kun went to visit his grandparents for new year. His grandfather said to him `Masa, (at which the rest of the boys cracked up when they heard the nickname Aiba`s grandad had given to him)  lets do what u normally do on TV, do the RAbu RAbu Talk!!!!!` ~ ~  so he had to do rabu rabu talk with his grandparents!!!

then they asked Captain what he did. He said that after visiting relatives, he got starting doing .... his claywork..... and this went on from 12pm to 12am....

Jun said that he slept, woke up, watched some TV and then repeated the whole cycle for the whole day before jumping into the ofuro and going back to sleep again!

Sho mentioned that he played Wii Tennis all day at which Nino informed him that he possed the Playstation 3, Xbox as well a Wii....
(ah finally, Sho found use for his air muscles.... WII!!!!) 
 
i`m pretty tired now... so I`ll stop this entry here.
In anycase, it was a really fun concert...... I`m glad I went!!!  XD


Edit: This morning they appeared in the news: Ohchan talked about his claywork, Aiba said that he didn`t receive any otoshidama (money) but Nino said he received 10,000 yen!!!! XD they are all so cute!!! 
I`ll have to buy todays newspapers now. :P
