contemplative Feel the ARASHI LOVE...
The five of them as actors, starring in a movie, a movie that can only be done because they are Arashi
The five of them continue to be working on movies, doramas, stage plays, variety shows and news programs. It has been sometime since they acted together in a movie. The setting for this movie is Tokyo in Showa year 33. This film portrays the comical and heartwrenching experiences of 5 young people who are poor but yet harbour great dreams to be something in their lives.
The director, 犬童一心、 says ‘ because it is Arashi, they are able to bring across the stong feelings of kinship, and, just as he mentioned, one is able to enjoy, to almost the extent of being envious, the atmosphere that is carried across the silver screen.
S; Well. It was enjoyable. We started filming the moment Nino came back from America and I think that the feeling that was strongly portrayed was ‘well, the five of us are Arashi!’
O: When this time, Shokun is speaking Kyoto-ben ne
M: For me , I found the idea of Aibakun acting the role of a singer and playing the guitar refreshing.
N; and in a similar fashion, I find Junkun’s role of a serious hardworking young man from Aomori refreshing too. Because he is full of smiles!
Jun: that is rare, u know. (laughs)
A; but well, to have dreams and chasing you own goals with a passion, this kind of spirit is something that has not changed from before. I know some friends of mine who are struggling to become singers and live off a monthly income of 20,000 yen..
S; I think it is important to carry dreams when you first step into society. If your dreams will be shaven down by the harsh realities of society, then it is better to have big dreams from the start. If u are willing to work, your dreams will change into your goals you set for yourself to achieve.
Q: Talking about fulfillment of dreams, wasn’t it your dream of having an Asian tour fulfilled last year?
S; U are right. It was like debuting all over again.
N: it is a bit like believing in yourself and taking a leap of faith
M; It was fantastic that we could meet the people in these countries who have been supporting us and do a live concert for them. It was great, the enthusiasm we received in Korea as well as in Taiwan.
O: That was refreshing. But in Taiwan, during the last part of the concert, we had to greet the fans in Mandarin. During the concert, my mind was just on that speech at the end…..
A: When we were dancing, I was thinking ‘damm… its coming…!’ (laughs) But the live managed to finish with any incident and when I looked across the sea of faces, I was really touched.
As they go into their 8 year, it is obvious that their talents are increasingly being placed into the limelight. . What are the changes you see, as individuals and as a group?
S: I think everyone of us has matured into adults. We have become more conscious of our work.
O : But the atmosphere among us has not changed.
N; when there are the other 4 around, I don’t need other friends because it is enjoyable, and that is enough for me.
M: Ah he said it! He is the person in charge of saying ‘ I love Arashi’ (laughs).
N: I think the person who has changed is Aiba-chan. Meeting and working with Shimura Ken made quite a big impact on his life right?
S: He has also gained experience from doing our programs and has learnt to voice out his opinions.
N: Shokun is also appearing in the News programme ne
A: Because he is a news caster, he is looking very corporate these days. Recently he is never seen without a newspaper. Is that an accessory?
S: of course I read it!!!!!
When asked who oozes sex appeal all of them replied in unison, ‘ Matsumoto kun!!’
‘ No one can copy his style’ - said Ohno
‘There is no one else that is willing to do nude shots!!!’ - said Sho, and so, to the 4 of them who were fussing over him like they were his fangirls, on the one hand, Jun retorted ‘ Am I hentai!?’ but then on the other hand he said in a satisfied tone, ‘ Ah I think I am very happy to hear that!’
Whilst getting fulfillment from doing lighthearted variety shows, the five of them quietly acknowledge each other’s presence. It can been seen that the mood that they produce is one that can be compared to a ‘company that has superior talent in its ranks’ because they have concrete performance skills which are consistent and stable.
N: I am happy to hear us being described in this fashion.
S: Right now, we take on each piece of work that comes to us, and I think it is good if we can recognize each one as a work of art.
A: Each one that comes is like a game, you in some you lose some, but the basic idea is ‘let’s enjoy ouselves’!
M(to Captain): So owner, can u close this session with a word of wisdom?
.O: Keep ur feet on the ground, be honest and don’t take short cuts.
M: Your voice is so soft, I can’t pick up what you are saying! (laughs)

Btw, I was also laughing my heart out when i read about the "accessory part" hahahaha... aiba... so funny... I actually think that he really thought it was Sho's accessory... hahahahaha...
