Translated the new PINKY issue. As usual Arashi is full of crack and nonsense. Personally though, I think this talk is pretty valuable, first, because Shou chan openly proposed to Nino, second, because I've learned something from it:
Point 1: if you ever spot Nino in town, ask him to marry you RIGHT AWAY, he won't refuse
Point 2: if you're at a ski resort and notice some suspicious guy trailing behind you, there's a good chance that guy is Aiba chan, so choose your action
Point 3: if you want Riida to fall for you, invite him over for a nabe dinner, and make sure you've got some leftover rice

When I was back in Brisbane, the war was against counterfeit Japanese anime DVDs, CDs and products. In Australia anime/manga is a touchy subject where the boundaries and rules surrounding its legalities are very foggy and ignored by the law-keepers as a pure waste of time. It's especially hard when stores selling official merchandise are almost non-existent except for back-alley comic stores, and the Chinese mafia have their own system running. I figured out somewhere along the way that buying fake things = funding Chinese mafia and keeping the really good quality anime DVDs and merchandise from Australian shores. I was often very jealous of fans in America who seemed to have it all in a language they could understand and at a price that they could afford. They were little wars - small victories were gained (Suckanova) at a cost. I hear issues with B*S still continue but hopefully one day their greed will be squashed.


Now since maturing slightly and finding other interests - mostly in Arashi - I have found new battles to be fought. I'm just glad that the people up top are the ones making the stand this time. JE themselves are doing their best to crush those rip off ticket scalpers who are actually fueling the fire between fan club members and international fans. I won't make comments about fake merchandise, as there's so little of it in existence compared to the real merchandise available that it's hardly worth a mention. However, this, is going too far if you ask me. Screening a copyrighted and licensed DVD in a public forum without proper permissions from the DVD creators/distributors? You could do it for free and it would still be illegal, unless of course you're telling me that the country which has a ban on chewing gum will somehow overlook a law which is recognized and punishable internationally. Oh wait, I think I found an answer.


I just...Argh! This isn't swimming in the gray area or bending the rules - this is snapping the rules in half right out in the open in your birthday suit!

As for comments about "Aw but you live in Japan." Lend me an ear and I'll tell you exactly how you can get here too. If you find that too difficult or too expensive maybe you'll shut your bitching trap next time! Grrr! I'm too sick to deal with "innocent" idiocy right now!

Great to see these huge Michael Jackson fans undertaking a huge challenge in performing a tribute at Kouhaku. They almost died when they met him.

There have been a lot of hate for it because many people claim SMAP cannot sing or dance but they have proven they are all capable of it. They may not sing and dance like Michael but no one can and no one will ever be capable of the performances he has done in the years.

I'm sure SMAP will do MJ proud.

yesterday my Arashi friend went to see VS Arashi filming. seems all are very genki.
Music station blog you can see the scene of staging.
J-web, Yoko’s diary. I was at TV company yesterday. I met Sho-kun there. I talked with staff of The Quiz Show. I felt nostalgic. (Sho-chan must be at NTV for Zero)
Keikarou (Aiba-chan’s parent’s Chinese restaurant) strap for mobile phone available from 20 Dec again. you can but at restaurant. 3 colors 1,700yen each.
The last promise, filming diary, 5^th day today the scene at setting of security center. There’s the scene of fighting against terrorist but the site hurry up. After all the filming was over much earlier than originally planned. And Ninomiya-san Fujiki-san went home with an ear-to-ear grin. From “ the last promise” we give time as present to busy 2?? 6^th day who is this back aspect? Answer is it was stand-in role of Kosakai-san. Ohno-san and Kosakai-san shows in this coverall. Today it was Ohno-san’s 29^th birthday. According Building siege. We ordered building design cake. We hustled to cerebrate surprisingly Ohno-san. But the cake isn’t delivered on time due to traffic jam. And Ohno san’s the scene got over. It was pinch to wait only for cake, I nearly got to cry. And that time cake has arrived. Ohno-san was surprised a lot and pleased. I was glad. He was interested in building shape cake too. At drama it’s 25 stories. But accounting Ohno-san’s age “it seems 29 stories.” Director pointed out. But most scared must be the chef who brought cake. Ohno-san shares the cake with staffs. All of staffs were so satisfied. Yummy. However we are scared with cake the filming was smoothly over for the day.

Today was a very taxing day just to register for my Japanese class next year.

Registration starts from 2:30 so I dropped down at about 3:30. By then, a few of my friends already registered and were waiting for me and Kia so that we can all go makan together.

When we arrived, we were looking around for the form to fill up. Our friends said to get from the counter. We went to the counter and the aunty was busy handling another student so we waited... and waited... and waited.

Finally, that student left and we asked her for the form. She told us to go to the classroom to check for the class. Once again, we went back in even though we already knew which class we wanted (still no form in hand).

Went back out, she is entertaining another student, who was taking their own sweet time again. So we asked another aunty at the counter for the form. This aunty said, "Ah my colleague is in there, get the form from him."

Back into the class and asked the uncle who then said, "Get the form from the counter."

Huh! What? Again!

When we FINALLY get the form and chose our class, we went back to the counter and hand it to that first aunty who was handling all the registration transaction. I had a cheque in hand to pay the full amount as what I have always done.

Suddenly she informed us, "Oh! Because of the new government policy for private schools, we cannot accept amounts over a certain sum. Please pay for the first semester only."

"But I got cheque for full payment!"

"Cannot accept!"

"Full lei. FULL!"

"No, no. First semester only."

...

Seriously, I wanted to choke a bitch right there and then.

Had to borrow off Kia to pay for the first semester because I do not cart around $200 in my wallet else I spend it all on food at one go.

The full payment is not that much either. Whole year is $527. And she does not want it!!! Anyway, if she accepted it, I have to fork out another $12 for some insurance fee (what kind of new policy is this i cannot fathom) which I am also willing to give but no, aunty does not want my extra money either.

The rest of the day I keep lamenting on, "Why? Why doesn't she want my money? I told her to take. TAKE MY MONEY! And she still doesn't want it. Is the money bad? My poor wasted cheque."
