current mood: hmmph....

*sigh* I want to be in Japan, I'm asking myself why am I in Melbourne when where I really want to be is hip happenin' Tokyo........ I miss Tokyo... (another 3.5 months to go before I get to go there again..... *ticks off one more day on my calender impatiently*)

What are the ways in which I can get to stay in Japan for an extended period? Teach English in Japan? hmm....
I checked this out : www.teachinjapan.com.au hmmm... shall I apply? Salary is not much, but at least I am there! Near my boys! and all those mags!

Anyway, I am in a moany mood, cos I keep on hearing about my friends who have either gone there to work or study. The next hurdle for me to cross in my nihongo bridge is to converse... I can read, I can write, I can understand most of what is being said to me,  but I have difficulty in conversing back... cos there's no one for me to practice with!  The only solution is to stay there and speak nothing but nihongo!

Let me drown my sorrows in more arashi songs... and in this beautiful pic of Sho-kun... (oh what nice photoshopped eyes he has.... ^ ^)

Scans thanks to seraphik

I met Takahashi Katsumi by chance whilst shopping

This morning, whilst I was shopping for something to put around my dressing room, I bumped into Takahashi Katsumi-san on the street by chance. But, I do not know him directly and therefore, I did not call out to him.  If I could have contacted Nino, I would have called out to him…. But unfortunately Nino was in LA at that time.  For your information, what I was going to buy at that time was Body So-bu and Green’s (?) aroma lamp. Last year, when I did West~, I also put an aroma lamp in my dressing room.  Somehow, my image of a dressing room is one that has an aromatherapy lamp in it.  Therefore, in order keep my spirits refreshed, I went out to try to buy a new one. But, during the time when I was doing West~ , there was this “object” in my dressing room called “Ohno Satoshi”. (laughs) XD This time, its just me in the dressing room and I intend to fill it with my own tastes.

The enjoyable things to look forward to in between the rehearsals of  BG

During the rehearsal of Beautiful Game, Yamazaki Yuta kun and Abe-Yasunori-chan (the person that plays the partner of Kahara Tomomi-chan) were acting like two guys who were poking fun at the performance of John and Mary (Sho’s and Arashino Beni’s characters in the musical). Although I liked it, it was the cute scene where John and Mary were talking about “Hate”, but when two guys are imitating it, it was awful. (bitter laugh).  Recently, there’s none, but during one time, they were doing the imitation continuously.  So, the next big boom, Waki (tomohiro) kun, during his singing scene, he did the imitation of Butsuzou-san.  That was really like him. Other than that, he also did the imitation of Bobby (he’s the big black guy that appears on variety shows in Japan) and that was really very funny. For me, I really liked the gag that Waki-kun did. (This explains why Sho did the imitation of Bobby during last week’s G NO A – except that Aiba just didn’t get it!!! XD)

I was interested in things that I did not know about Russia

One of my friends who spent a year in Russia brought one of his Russian friends back to Japan. I went out for a meal with them.  That was very interesting.  Firstly, don’t we have the impression that Russia is a very cold place? But, that person kept on saying that “Japan is cold”. He had expectations that it would be a little warmer and I thought that he was joking. (laughs). Instead of drinking Johnny Walker, he was drinking Umeshu (Plum Wine) and he was constantly eating sashimi. Furthermore, while he was dipping it a lot in soy sauce, he was saying “Its delicious, its delicious!”.   Apparently Sashimi is also popular amongst Russians.  For a short time, the exchange of different cultures was considerably interesting. (laughs)

Kisarasu Cats Eye was fully wrapped up

Although this happened a little bit beforehand, there was this ending party for the cast and staff of  Kizarasu Cats Eye. The staff had made a video recapping all the things that had happened during the filming of the movie. Due to my rehearsals, I arrived late, and that video was being screened when I got there. Because everybody was so absorbed in it and feeling very touched, and I could not greet them until the video had finished. (bitter laugh)  After that, I proceeded to introduce the song that the other Cats members and myself that composed during our free time and it will be a song that will bring up the atmosphere during karaoke.  These guys, I have known them thoroughly for 5 years already.  I didn’t cry but Ryuta (Saitou Ryuta)-chan, he cried quite a fair bit…. (laughs).

During the filming of that CM, an unbelievable thing happened.

This is also something that happened quite some time ago, but this happened during the filming of the C1000 Takeda CM.  At the end of the CM, there was this scene where the camera circles around us right?.  We were standing right in the middle of the axis of circulation of the camera, and the machinery that was attached to the camera would start rotating but there was this once, where the machine started rotating without advance warning. It was considerably scary. We were in the middle, so we were safe, but the machine hit those staff who were doing our make up and arranging our clothes for us. It was quite terrible. Luckily nothing major happened. There was a lot of hard work that went into that CM, so please really seriously check it out!

He really seems to have a fascination with those area up there. First Hungary and now, Russia. Why can't he be more interested in Singapore? *kicks shochi* Oi oi oi! Be interested here.

KI-SA-RA-ZU~ nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan... my mother would randomly sing that out XD I influenced her too much.

Yikes! Attack of the rotating camera. If any of the guys got hurt, there would have been a riot LOL.

Sho Myojo June 06

e-to ne....I started my once a week nihongo classes in Oct 99, just after Arashi debuted! XD For the first 2 years everything on the dorama serials and magazines were gibberish to me. Then, after that... enlightenment slowly came.... XD

I love Bambi.. that's my favourite Sho character... Maybe Takemoto-kun will overtake that this summer...

Yah... maybe Aiba-chan will put in a good word about Singapore for him...*fingers crossed*
